BIM Coordinator – Advanced Technology & Data Centre Projects Stuttgart, Germany
We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a leading international contractor delivering major high-tech projects across data centres, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and batteries. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of Europe’s most complex and innovative projects, supporting the design and digital engineering teams in the successful delivery of mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Establish, manage, and monitor BIM standards and processes across multiple projects
Coordinate between designers, engineers, and BIM Managers to ensure quality and compliance
Ensure all project milestones, digital deliverables, and client handovers are met
Conduct test runs, clash detection, and model-based planning workshops
Support the development of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and oversee BIM software use
Manage and audit IFC files and ensure high-quality assurance of all models
Integrate and hand over information packages throughout all phases of the project
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Europe to drive digital innovation
Candidate Profile
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of BIM processes, ISO 19650, VDI 2552, and industry standards
Extensive experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and BIM 360
Solid background in clash detection, digital design workflows, and BIM coordination
Proficiency in English (German or French desirable)
Structured, organised, and collaborative, with excellent communication skills
Previous experience in large-scale industrial or data centre projects is highly desirable
